about

A Thousand Blended Notes is the debut classical album of British composer Alex Lamy: a collection of duets for Violin and Harp, performed by Rusanda Panfili and Cristina Di Bernardo.

Always tranquil, occasionally demanding and dramatic, the duets deliver the unmistakable air of all things natural and earthy; of rivers running, autumn leaves blowing, tall trees and luminous golden-hour portraits. Exploring the full range of both instruments, the musicianship is outstanding at times, meditative at others, but always blended - drawing one voice from two separate strings.
